Camp Schedule:

Arrival: Friday afternoon, May 22nd

Registration begins at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. When you first arrive, park in the first parking lot near the dining hall where you check in. Once you register and sign up for Karma Yoga, you may have several hours to “move in” and become familiar with campground facilities.

Scheduled camp activities will begin with dinner around 6:00 followed at by an evening program at 8:00 including a brief camp orientation, Zikr, and Dances of Universal Peace.

There will also be a 5:00 meeting in the Zikr Hall for teachers and staff supervisors. While there is no compulsion in Sufism, please try to be there.

Departure: By noon on Wednesday, May 27

After simple breakfast on Wednesday morning, there will a closing morning circle and dances. All campers must depart the campground no later than noon of that morning as staff needs to finish closing down camp before the next group arrives.

Early Arrival: Thursday, May 21 starting at noon

While staff (those with scholarships) are expected to come Thursday and help set up, all other campers who arrive early will be expected to assist with camp set-up. Contact Camp Manager Gayan Galik to get this arranged. Early arrivals without advance approval will be assessed an additional fee of $50 per adult.

Importance of Accurate Headcounts
Keep in mind that giving us your arrival and departure day / time on your registration form helps us plan for headcounts at meals. If there are changes in your arrival/departure times that will affect meal counts, please tell the registration staff!

Receiving your registration form with fees paid by May 1st will allow us to save money in bulk food purchase, thereby keeping your camp fees affordable. This is increasingly important in these financially stressed times.

We also pay the State Park a daily rate for each camper. There is financial importance to this information so we can keep the cost of camp affordable for us all.
