Arrival: Friday afternoon, October 8
Check-In begins at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. When you first arrive, park in the first parking lot near the dining hall where you check in. Once you register, sign the Adult Hold Harmless/Indemnity Agreement, and sign up for Karma Yoga, you may have several hours to “move in” and become familiar with campground facilities.
Scheduled camp activities will begin with announcements at 5:45 with dinner at 6:00 followed by an evening program at 8 o'clock including a brief camp orientation, Zikr, and Dances of Universal Peace.
There will be a pre-camp afternoon retreat in the lower level of the zikr hall on Friday as well. Click on its link on the menu to the left for more info.
There will also be a Friday 5:00 meeting in the Zikr Hall for teachers and staff leads. While there is no compulsion in Sufism, please try to be there.
Friday's Schedule will be posted on dining hall and cabin doors and the Daily Schedule will be handed out by the end of All-camp class on Saturday morning.
Departure: By noon on Tuesday, October 13th
After simple breakfast on Tuesday morning, there will a closing morning circle and dances. All campers including staff must depart the campground no later than noon of that morning.
Importance of Arrival/Departure Times Information
Keep in mind that giving us your arrival and departure day / time on your registration form helps us plan for headcounts at meals. If there are changes in your arrival/departure times that will affect meal counts, please tell the registration staff! This is important during camp too. This information is how we pay the state park for your nights' stay as well.
Early Registration Deadline
Receiving your registration form with fees paid by Friday September 25th will allow us to save money in bulk food purchase, thereby keeping your camp fees affordable.
While staff (those with scholarships) are expected to come Thursday and help set up, all other campers who arrive early will be expected to assist with camp set-up. Early arrivals who do not help will be assessed an additional fee of $50 per adult.
There will also be an All-Staff meeting after Thursday dinner cook-out in the Dining Hall .
