MURSHID WALI ALI MEYER was the personal assistant and esoteric secretary to Murshid Samuel L. Lewis for the last years of S.A.M.'s life. Murshid S.A.M. initiated him as a Sheikh in 1971.
In the more than 30 years that he has served as a Sufi teacher, Wali Ali has trained disciples, established Khankah S.A.M. in San Francisco, and traveled widely teaching Sufi esotericism and imparting the transmissions of the Spiritual Walks and the Dances of Universal Peace.
Wali Ali has worked on the editing and publication of many of S.A.M.'s writings and now serves as the head of the esoteric school for the Sufi Ruhaniat International (SRI).
He continues the embodiment S.A.M.'s legacy in Dance and Sufi gatherings throughout the world, and in the landmark series of Esoteric Studies that is grounded in the spiritual teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan and Murshid Samuel L. Lewis. He offers a fresh approach to the development of those on the Sufi path, and profound insight to all, based on his extensive spiritual study, practice, and teaching.
